What is cognitive intelligence?
According to the experts Resing and Drenth, cognitive intelligence is «The set of cognitive or intellectual skills necessary to obtain knowledge and use that knowledge correctly in order to solve problems that have a well-described objective and goal»[1].
Therefore, cognitive intelligence is that which has to do with the various capabilities of the human being, such as memory, attention, language….
Cognitive intelligence is influenced by the mental processes and the analysis of information inherent to human beings.
Taken to the computer level, cognitive computing allows the technological system to analyze, in a manner similar to that of humans, the different interactions and pieces of information. The aforementioned cognitive systems, with each piece of information analyzed, gain value and knowledge over time. They are able to understand unstructured data and to reason hypotheses giving priority to certain data.
